Quarterly Programme · Lima, Peru & online
A one-to-one programme for employees with a clear goal: 24 hours of lessons built around their real job, with a document at every stage so the company knows exactly where things stand.
How it works
Every employee gets the same documents, calendar and 1 to 5 scale, so progress is comparable across your team. Objectives, topics, vocabulary and materials are written for their job.
45 to 60 minutes before the first lesson, not counted in the 24 hours: conversation, listening, reading, writing, and grammar and vocabulary. Each skill is scored from 1 to 5, with an estimated CEFR level.
The outline of the programme: starting and target level, 3 to 4 measurable objectives, topics in four 3-week blocks, resources, activities and homework.
Two 1-hour lessons a week, or the same 24 hours in 1.5-hour lessons. Online, at the office or at the employee's home, built around their real job.
Attendance, punctuality and participation, scores at the start and now, progress on each objective, strengths, areas to strengthen and any changes to the plan.
Same structure as the placement test, so before and after can be compared directly. Each objective is marked achieved or in progress, with a recommended next step.
Measurable objectives
Every plan has 3 to 4 objectives you can observe at work, and the final report marks each one as achieved or in progress. Some examples:
Instead of: "Improve their Spanish."
Instead of: "Learn the past tense."
Instead of: "Talk to suppliers."
Adapted to your sector
In 24 hours, the realistic goal is about half a CEFR level, or the same level with much more fluency. Better to promise less and exceed it.
Protocol, official meetings, events, press and current Peruvian affairs.
Consultations with patients, symptoms, community work and coordination with local teams.
Safety, shifts, instructions, field reports and dealing with contractors.
Presentations, negotiation, business lunches and client calls.
Daily life, paperwork, housing, health and Peruvian workplace culture. See also Landing in Lima.

Yes, at no extra cost, and it does not count towards the 24 hours. The final test does count, as part of the programme.
The placement results and the learning plan go to the employee and the company. The mid-programme and final reports go to the company, with a copy to the employee. The statement of completion goes to the employee.
In 24 hours, the realistic goal is about half a CEFR level (for example, from A2 to A2+, or from A2+ to B1), or the same level with much more fluency and confidence.
Payment is made in advance and you receive an official Peruvian electronic receipt (recibo por honorarios electrónico). You can pay 50% at the start and 50% in week 6, together with the mid-programme report.
Lessons cancelled at least 24 hours in advance are rescheduled. Later cancellations count as a used lesson.
No. It states the hours completed and the level reached according to the teacher's assessment, based on the CEFR. We also prepare students for the official DELE exam.
Yes. Each employee has their own one-to-one programme and plan, with the same documents, calendar and 1 to 5 scale, so HR can compare progress across the team.
The final report recommends a next step: usually a second Quarterly Programme to reach the next level, or a shared hour bank to keep progress going.
